| It's very easy to apply to become a translator. Just make sure you have a good command of English and your own language. Please, think of it; a botched translation will make the developers of Black Mesa look bad, even if they had nothing to do with it.
Below there is a list of volunteers and the subforums available. Some of them are empty since they were requested but nothing was posted, so I am leaving them up just in case. I'll try to keep the list of members here updated, and I'm including the names of people who have been active here at some point in the past, even if they're gone now. Translators can help me clean this list up as progress is made. If you want to apply, please say so!

| Hey, can I help in the translation? I'm brazilian. I just need to finish the game first to have a better ideia to translate. Thanks. Obs: I know, that I'm asking this a lot, but is because I really want to help and I'm not sure of what topic is the official one (Is this topic the official?). |

| Oh, you sure can! Yup, this is the right one. Portuguese would be great! You can finish the game first, of course, and once you're ready, let me know | |

| Thanks ;D Soon as the game release I will download it and finish. But downloading is the worst part XP. I will download that demo script in the forum to have a basic idea. The game have about to 6GB, 5GB? That large would take up to 4 days of downloading. Do you know if the Black Mesa Team after the launching will continue to launch patchs and updates and if have anyone in the forum that want to translate to PT-BR too? I'm just having some trouble with my account XP. Thanks man ;D |

| I'm quite sure that they'll release patches if there are problems with the mod, yeah. About other people translating, I guess, I'm not sure though - you know that translating is a lot of work, so finding partners is difficult Good luck though | |

| I'm afraid I don't have Erk's email, sorry And yeah, the place is closed. We gave a warning that it would shut down so people would save their progress, but it seems like some people didn't. We're trying to rebuild what we'd done there | |

| I would like to create a Korean translation. I am pretty sure I can find some people to help me. Scientist: "I apologize, Mr Freeman, but I couldn't risk opening that door until I was sure you'd scoured the area. This is the last entrance to the Lambda complex. Every other has been sealed off to contain the invasion. When we realized that you might actually make it here, we drew straws to see who should stay behind to let you through. Obviously, I drew the short one. My colleagues are waiting at the tip of the Lambda reactor. Waiting for you, I mean. The reactor is shut down right now, but you can activate it on your way up. You'll have to flood the core anyway to get into the teleportation labs. You're not authorized to know about those, but I can see you already know a great deal more than any one man is supposed to." (If a better context was provided, I would have used some other word) 물로 채워야 할겁니다. 당신은 이런 것들을 알면 안돼지만, 당신은 아무 한 사람이 알아야 될 것보다 훨신 더 많이 알고 있는것 같군요. | |

| Hey, I would like to apply for the German translation. From what It seems there are already quite some people in that team but there doesn't seem to be any post in the German Language section of the forum. If you know if they have grouped together somewhere else let me know, otherwise I will try to get the translation done.
I'm very comfortable with both languages, since German is my mother language and I use English quite a lot on a daily basis as well.

| Hi, I'm leaving this here for better times, probably the forum will come to life as soon as the mod is released. I see there is no italian subforum, no one has applied for italian translation. If you plan to add this language I'm up for the challenge.
here's the translation: Scienziato: "Ti porgo le mie scuse Sig. Freeman, ma non potevo certo rischiare di aprire quella porta finché non fossi stato certo che tu avessi ripulito l'area. Questa è l'ultima entrata rimasta per il complesso Lambda. Tutte le altre sono state sigillate per contenere l'invasione. Quando ci siamo resi conto che ce l'avresti potuta fare ad arrivare fin qui, abbiamo sorteggiato a chi sarebbe rimasto indietro per farti entrare. Ovviamente sono stato estratto io(I had to change this one a bit because of the language differences.). I miei colleghi stanno aspettando alla fine del reattore lambda. Aspettando te, intendo. In questo momento il reattore è spento, ma puoi attivarlo durante il tuo percorso. In ogni caso dovrai allagare il nocciolo per raggiungere i laboratori di teletrasporto. Non sei autorizzato a sapere di quelli, Ma posso ben notare che sei a conoscenza di una quantità di informazioni di gran lunga superiore a quella che un uomo dovrebbe sapere."
Thank you, Joz | |

| I'm sorry, but i joined BMI and helped in the german translation section without asking if i may. It was more like minor tweaking and helping stefan. But now that i've seen that others asked first, I'll like to ask afterwards. I hope you aren't angry | |
